Pilates for Aerialists

I help aerialists rehab and find their centers through Pilates.

Ciao friends! If you have made it to this page, I’m assuming you might be like me, an aerialist, or an artistic athlete who is either coming back from an injury, post partum, or just seeking to combine your aerial practice with Pilates. Years after a severe spinal chord injury, I am well into my career as a Pilates instructor, while maintaining a constant schedule of aerial silks training, dancing, and performing when I can. While my back injury has been the most challenging thing I’ve ever been through, it has not taken away my passion for aerial and dancing, and has been enhanced in the most beautiful way possible through Pilates. I’ve officially started a 1-1 coaching program to shape your aerial goals around a tailored Pilates program.

I have enjoyed training with Jenn. She has extensive knowledge in how to get your body stronger and more pliable. I have trained with her on a Pilates reformer one on one and on aerial silks in person. Since she’s moved to the UK to continue her education, I now watch her videos and catch her “live” when I can. I help people professionally with breath work and how to get their bodies grounded and stronger. I’m glad I found Jenn for myself and tried new things. It’s essential to pour into one’s self, so that you can be healthy in mind and body before you, in-turn, pour out. Jenn is also proficient at helping with injuries. When I met her, I had tweaked a portion of my lower back. Within two sessions of her aerial Pilates on silks, my back pain was gone.

Jenn has helped me with my awareness of my body. Understanding all the nuances of my muscles have changed the way i move on the ground and in the air. Suddenly, things I’d been working on for years unlocked.
